Yes — every gas engineer working in your home must be on the Gas Safe Register by law, and we have been since the start. You can ask to see our Gas Safe ID card on every visit, and you can verify our registration on the Gas Safe website at any time.
A service is a full check and clean of your boiler to keep it running efficiently and protect your warranty. A CP12 (also called a Landlord Gas Safety Record) is a legal certificate landlords must have every 12 months for every gas appliance in a rented property. We do both — and many landlords book them together.
If your radiators are cold at the bottom, your system is noisy or sludgy, or you're fitting a new boiler to an older system — yes, a power flush is well worth doing. It clears out the rust and sludge that's blocking your pipework, makes the system more efficient and protects your new boiler's warranty.
A standard like-for-like combi swap is usually a one-day job. Full system conversions — for example moving from an old back-boiler to a modern combi, or to an unvented cylinder system — typically take one to two days. We'll give you an exact timeline with your written quote.
All our workmanship comes with a 12-month warranty as standard. On top of that, as Baxi and Worcester Bosch accredited installers we can register extended manufacturer warranties on the boilers we fit — often up to 10 years on Worcester Bosch units. We register the paperwork on your behalf so you don't have to chase it.
